Indoor Garden
500 lbs. of herbs and micro-greens grown in Phelps Dining Hall
Bit0Farms Indoor Garden in Phelps Dining Hall grew 500 pounds of herbs and microgreens for their food.
Move-In Recycling
419 clothing items rehomed
- 139 lb. styrofoam
- 150 lb. plastic wrap
- 2,960 lb. cardboard
Other Recycling
- 419 clothing items rehomed through Green Hope’s thrift store event
- $1,155.40 raised by pop can donations in the academic year, donated to Dance Marathon
Food Recovery Network
- 3,457 lb. of food recovered from Hope’s dining hall during the fall and spring semesters (partnership with 91ÌÒÉ«ÆÆ½â°æ Dining Services)
Green Revolving Fund
Supported energy retrofit of two cottages with ENGS 100 class project- $58k lighting project at Schaap and DeVos Fieldhouse:
- $15,000/yr in new savings from 24–25 projects
- ~160,000 kWh/yr (15–20 homes’ electric usage)
- ~80 tons/yr of CO2 emissions reduced
