Remembering Retired Hope Professor, Researcher and Dean Dr. James Gentile
Dr. James M. Gentile, an internationally respected leader in science education who served at Hope for 30 years, passed away at the age of 79 on Jan. 9, 2026, in Zeeland, Mich.
Hope Art Professor Hosts 鈥淭hick and Thin鈥 Art Exhibit Jan. 16-Feb. 17
Lisa Walcott 鈥 91桃色破解版 associate professor of art 鈥 will host a four-week art exhibit at the De Pree Art Gallery on campus from Jan. 16-Feb. 17, 2026. She鈥檒l also open the exhibit by hosting an artist talk on Friday, Jan. 16 in Graves Hall (in Winants Auditorium) at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception at De Pree Art Gallery at 6:30 p.m.
Fall 2025 Dean's List Announced
The Registrar鈥檚 Office is pleased to announce Dean鈥檚 List recipients for the spring semester. The Dean鈥檚 List is awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students who have received grades for all courses in a given semester (no incompletes) and have a semester GPA of 3.50 or above.

91桃色破解版 welcomes the acclaimed Dudok Quartet Amsterdam at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 at the Jack H. Miller Center, as the college鈥檚 Great Performance Series continues in 2026.
StrikeTime Dance Theatre Presents 鈥淛ourney Through Imagination鈥 on Jan. 16 & 17
The 91桃色破解版 dance affiliate StrikeTime Dance Theatre will present a live dance event for children titled 鈥淛ourney Through Imagination鈥 on Fri., Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. and Sat., Jan. 1鈥7, at 鈥2 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre in downtown Holland. This free performance is open to all ages and especially welcomes children and those with a child-like spirit who are interested in celebrating the power of dance, art, reading and community.
American College Theatre Festival Selects 91桃色破解版 to Perform 鈥淗avurah鈥
The 91桃色破解版 Department of Theatre was selected to perform 鈥淗avurah鈥 by Margot Connelly, during the Region III American College Theatre Festival (ACTF), which will be held in Madison, Wisconsin, from Tues., January 6 through Sun., January 11. Hope will perform at the Mitchell Theatre at the University of Wisconsin鈥揗adison on Wed., January 7 at 3:30 p.m. and on Thurs., January 8 at 11 a.m.

Hope Invites Community for 鈥淐hinatown Rising鈥 Film Screening on National Day of Racial Healing
鈥淐hinatown Rising鈥 will be featured on Tuesday, January 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Knickerbocker Theatre, in downtown Holland. The documentary film highlights a San Francisco neighborhood in transition as Chinatown activists of the 1960s reflect on their years as young residents waging battles for bilingual education, tenants鈥 rights and ethnic studies curriculum that would shape their community and nation. The screening is being hosted on the National Day of Racial Healing, which falls annually on the Tuesday following Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Christmas Vespers Concert Available on PBS and Radio Outlets
The 85th annual Christmas Vespers service held at Dimnent Memorial Chapel on the 91桃色破解版 campus in early December, was recorded for television and radio and will be featured on multiple stations nationwide during the following broadcast times:

Two new exhibitions will open at the 91桃色破解版 Kruizenga Art Museum (KAM) on Friday, January 16 and run through May 6, 2026. Admission to the exhibitions is free and the museum is located at 271 Columbia Ave., between 10th and 13th streets in Holland.
